Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to a pumpkin patch! With so much rain these past several weekends I did not think it was going to happen. This afternoon Brant, Hank, and I went to Hubers in Baltimore County. Hank enjoyed walking around the pumpkins, but was most impressed with an old tractor that they were using for display. He kept wanting to get on it. He also liked watching the tractors that were running the hay rides.

Runaway Pumpkin.

Last night I attempted a photo shot with Hank dressed in a Pumpkin outfit. He was more interested in everything that was going on around him and not so much in Mama getting the perfect photo. He saw the little boys next door and was walking toward their house in this video. He looks like the Michelin Man dressed as a pumpkin!

A little S(Hank) Steak for Supper!

Actually he is more of a ham lately! Hank loves to laugh and make us laugh. These photos were taken last night while I was getting Supper ready. He will find anything to entertain himself.

Grammy's Gourds

There was no sunshine yesterday, but at least after three days of all rain, we could go outside. Hank and I rode up to Brant's parents for a few hours, so Gramps could see Hank now that he walks. Brant's Mom (Grammy) had some gourds sitting out on her walk and Hank was allowed to pick what he wanted before we left. He picked out his favorite green and orange one and then turned around to get one more - a small orange one. Of course he tried to carry them both!
As you can tell he is wearing two different outfits. When we were outside earlier he got some mud on his pants - any excuse to change his outfits! I also think it's funny how he already had his sights on those same two gourds. The ones he played with earlier are the same two he grabbed when we left.

Hank now has six teeth. His new word is truck and he says it so clearly. When we are riding in the car he points to all the trucks and calls out "truck."

Hank starts to Walk

Hank has been taking a step or two here and there, but today he started to walk more. He gets very proud of himself when he realizes what he is doing. This video was shot this evening. I had been trying new clothes on him, which is why he is running around in just his diaper and socks.

Mommy Said No!

Hank loves to go and pull plugs out of the sockets. Often I hear myself saying; "Mommy said No."
Hank still has a little bit of congestion left over from his cold, but is mostly 100% better. Late last week he had been running a low grade fever and Saturday he broke out in a rash. Brant was home with him for the day, because I was doing a "Girls Day Out." The Doctor on call said it was Roseola, which is common in babies and young children. By the time I got home it had started to clear and within a day or two was gone.
Yesterday Hank went with me and Brant's Mom to do some shopping in Lancaster. We had lunch at Cracker Brarrel. Hank loves to eat and enjoyed eating from both our plates. He also was enticed by the rocking chairs, so we found one just his size on the porch.
