Jump for Joy

Hank loves to jump up and down in his Jumperoo (make sure you watch the above video). He is so much fun right now. He loves to play and laugh and "talk" He says Mum and makes a lot of "B" noises. My Mom thinks he is trying to say bird, because they watch the birds at her house. It's so funny to hear him 'talking' to himself when we are driving along in the car and when he is playing at home.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Memorial Day Milestone

Hank has reached another milestone. As of today he can totally sit up on his own. For the past week he has been practicing with pillows or someone behind him, but today he did it all by himself. He is really starting to be a big boy. Last night I reminded Brant how this time last year we used to lay on the couch and he would say; "I can't wait until he(Hank)is here sitting on the couch with us."

Today was just a day at home. Brant mowed and I planted some of my flowers until it started to pour down rain. Hank went with me yesterday to the nursery to get my flowers. He loves to go out and see people and he is always so good. He also went with me to my cousin's bridal shower on Saturday and we went to Barnes and Nobel and got him some new books. Hank likes to look at books.
Brant was away fishing and came home yesterday. I asked where the fish were - they ate them Saturday night:(

Happy Memorial Day - It's now Summer Time (unofficially).

The one photo is of Hank sitting up today. The second photo is from yesterday. I had all the flowers loaded in the back of the truck and you can see Hank's little face peaking around the seat.

Ax Woman

Brant and I watch the show Ax Men on the Discovery Channel. This photo reminds us of that show - it's about the timber trade in Oregon and the men who harvest the trees, in case you don't know.

The timber harvesters are up at my parents right now getting some trees. Around the time that Hank was born we decided that we wanted to be back up in the North Harford area, so we are in the early stages of building a home on a piece of property that is owned by my parents. The trouble was, my parents signed a contract to sell trees right before we told them what we wanted to do, and of course some of the trees were on the area we want to build. Luckily things are working out and they are getting the trees in our area sooner than expected. Brant, Dad, and I went over there yesterday to mark off the area we are planning to put the house on, so that we could get more trees removed now while the harvesters are there.

This photo is not the best, because it was taken with Brant's cell phone, but it's neat just the same.

Happy Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day!
It has been busy busy busy. Friday Hank and I went to the church Mother Daughter Banquet - he was so good. Saturday we spent the day with my Mom and went shopping in Shrewsbury. A lot of older people came up to him at the Farmer's Market and talked to him. One older gentleman gave him four quarters to put in his piggy bank.
This morning Hank and Brant made me breakfast. We are going to go out at lunch time and do something together - maybe buy Mommy a nice purse! This afternoon we are getting crabs and going to Brant's parents.

Happy Mama's Day Everyone!

Mr Cool takes a Stroll

Today Brant's mother watched Hank. She got him his first pair of sunglasses - this was a shot she took of him out for a stroll. He looks like he is trying to be Mr. Cool.

My First Post

Hey I thought this would be a great way to post things that are going on with us, especially Hank. I hope to post things from time to time, especially photos.

Here are some recent photos of Hank. He is seven months now and growing so fast.
